The Terminator

In the future, Skynet, a supersmart computer system that achieves consciousness, fights a war against the humans who built it. It nearly exterminates the human race but, after long battle, the humans smash its power grid. Just before being destroyed, Skynet sends a Terminator ( Arnold Schwarzenneger ) back in time to kill Sarah, the mother to be of John Connor. He is the leader of the human resistance. Without him, the resistance might never get started! In desperation to preserve its own existence, Skynet attempts a retroactive abortion on John. The terminator can pass for human but is nearly indestructible. It has only one mission, killing Sarah Connor. One soldier, Kyle, is sent back to protect her from the Terminator. He must find Sarah before the Terminator can carry out it's mission.
