Rock Band Shredmaster Wireless Guitar  Reviews

1.    Great wired/wireless controller for all Guitar Hero

I originally purchased another wireless controller for my nieces GH2.

I wanted to have two wireless controllers so I originally bought two of the same one (the red octane white wireless controller).

I connected it, and it was charged within 15 minutes (while I was playing).

Both button sets work great and the glowing strum bar is cool.

The strum bar is a little loud and sounds squeaky (and it can start to aggravate you if you let it), but it works great.

Star power works quickly and easily every time.

My niece has to shake the other guitar but this one, a simple lift and power away.

2.    Awesome guitar controller

I chose this controller because it looks great, & was advertised as "wired or wireless" - so I figured if it didn't work well as wireless, I would just plug it in.

The strum bar is still louder than I'd like, but no worse than the wired controller that comes with the game.

Another cool feature - the guitar shuts off automatically after a few minutes to conserve battery life.

3.    Best Aftermarket GH Guitar

Same comment as others, strum bar is a little loud and squeaky.

Gonna try the WD40 to ease the noise tonight but otherwise super pleased and the best of 3 (Kramer, Psyclone, and DreamGear) that I've tried!!

4.    Don't Let the Looks Fool You!

Yeah it can be taken apart & lubed with some lithium grease to quiet it down...but hey it's suppossed to be ready to "ROCK"!

I would not recommend this guitar unless you're handy & can make modifications yourself.

Definitely needs "tweaking" to make it any good.
